John Mellencamp no longer from "Small Town"

It was recently brought to the attention of LaughPrints that Seymour, Indiana has a population approaching 19,000, no-longer making it a small town.   Seymour (formerly known as a small town) is located just three Klu Klux Klan chapters south of Indianapolis and is feeling the grip of Indy's slow and anemic growth.  "We'll shucks, that kinda sucks you know.  I was born in a medium sized town just doesn't sound that good"  said one local resident.

Mellencamp was unable to be reached for a quote on his new dilemma but music insiders aren't worried about the possible lyric change. "Really you have John, Paul, George and John again, and that second John to clarify is John Mellencamp.  The first of course being John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison, those are the greatest lyricists of all-time" Said one older homeless looking guy who looks like he knows a lot about music.   Like the old saying goes "Time goes on and small towns turn into medium ones",  but we'll always have those small town memories thanks to John "Cougar" Mellencamp.
