Hollywood Comedy Store regular Davey Wester had never performed in Arkansas before meeting Trey Moore and Raj Suresh. "Both those guys told me to come down and we'd have a good time" said the Washington native Davey Wester. "Trey got in touch with CORE and I went down there and had a great time. Now all these months later i'm coming back not only to Fayetteville but now Fort Smith. That's how good it was, TWO SHOWS! this time" he said.
The collaboration of Suresh and Moore has not only shown a spotlight on the local Arkansas talent but also opened the doors to nationally headlining comedians. Wester was originally passed by Mitzi Shore (I'm Dying Up Here:showtime) back in '03 after moving to Hollywood from the potato factories of Eastern Washington. He now headlines all over America driving 20,000 miles and performing at over 120 shows a year. "These are my people in Arkansas that's why I wanted to get back down there".
It's safe to say Moore and Suresh have helped usher in a new era of comedy in N.W. Arkansas that is just beginning. Catch both comedians weekly in the NW Arkansas area and easily find Suresh's "Semi Famous" on Spotify.
